What would be the least expensive way of recording 5-10 seconds of a Playstation 2 game? Ultimately, I want to be able to make them available via website.

is it a prerendered sequence ?
anyway if its in mpeg you can always extract it.

or its a play sequence. you'll need a capture card.
the one that compresses for you is quite expensive.
so i suggest getting a video card that have video in and use VirtualDub and huffyuv lossless codec.
