I'm having trouble playing back these files on my Philips DVR642. I've managed to get the video to work by renaming the VR_VIDEO to have an extension of ".mpeg" and copy it to a DVD-R but I'm still have issues with the audio.

I think the audio format is ac3 but I'm not 100% sure. These files play fine when played on my PC.

Basically, I need to know if there is a program that will convert these to have mpeg compliant audio, preferably automated or even command-line driven.

Any resident DVD-RAM gurus here to help an recent convert out?
