I'm no expert in this,which is why i'm here.Yes it concerns booting backup disks of any kind.What i dont understand is,since the boot code is in sectors 0-16 of the iso 9660 ( thats was for the ps1 i think,i don't know if its different for other consoles of applications) why not just copy those sectors?I heard its because commercial burners cant write on those sectors.If that is so,is this a software or a hardware restriction?But either ways should be possible shouldnt it?I'm assuming there's more to it than just that,since everybody here uses modchips.Can anyone tell me where things get complicated?Thanks.

they are bad sectors, and your burner can't burn bad sectors.
