Samsung DVD V-2000 Movie Freezing Problems

Heya everyone,

Our Samsung DVD V-2000 DVD/VHS player stops (freeze screen) off and on while playing movies? We tried 4 different movies and each one does this. Yesterday it was working fine. The DVD disks are clean and free of scratches. After seeing the problem we used a DVD/CD cleaner disk to clean the lazer eye and this did not help at all. Could it be that the DVD player is too hot and the heat could be causing the stopping/skipping? Or could it be something else?

Please let us know what can be done about this.
