what is the best way to play backups. The flip top or a mod chip (or any other method). Is the flip top hard on your playstation. Also if i order a flip top and boot disc why do i need to know what version my playstation is. Are there any non solder chips that do not need a boot disc?
thanks

There is no best way that is personal preference. I dunno what u mean by is it hard on ur ps2, but if you mean hard to do then no just simply unscrew and change cover rescrew. You need to know what version you have cuz there are 3 types of covers (third one being the new slimline).

In life, the test will always come first and the lesson later...

A Quality Modchip is the best way to go... Get it installed by a company, do solder yourself or buy a new premoded unit!

Fliptop/non-solder are annoying & you can have problems with many games.

HDLoader doesn't work on everything & if your backing up from the ps2 drive it can weaken the laser etc.
