Matrix Infinity nothing going on???

I installed a matrix infinity and playstation does not do anything diffrent it boots the games normaly, am i supposed to see anything diffrent? I havent tried any backups yet but shouldent i get a diffrent screen when i boot up? i believe i installed it ok because it boots up and i did solder everything. HELP
