Hi. I'm a new member to the burning world. I use DVD shrink, and DVD decryptor to copy movies. They both work great. I have one problem. When I play the burnt copy, I get pixels appearing. It isn't all the time, but they show up about ever 10 - 15 min. Those anyone have a solution to this problem. I was wondering if it was my dvd player or the media disks that I'm using.

What media and Mid code you useing?

The media is generic. I bought a spindle of 50 for $24.97. I don't know what a MID is.

In order to make good vidio backups you have to use good quality media. This guide is a little out of date but is still faily accurate. http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

Here's a little proggy (free) that will give you the MID (manufacturer ID) code of your media. The name on the media is not always (usually not) who makes the media. http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
