I have searched and searched for an answer, and I have tried twenty different approaches and nothing is working...here is what is happening...

I am exporting .mov files from Avid Xpress Pro. Three are relatively small and the last two are fairly large.
The smaller three have moved right into TMPGEnc 2.5 demo version smoothly and encoded with no problems and look great. The bigger files get an error message that they are not supported. So, I downloaded the QTreader plug in and inserted it into the root folder for TMPGEnc and I was able to import those large .mov files into the encoder. But, they only get about 2% into the process before the TMPGEnc 2.5 locks up and shuts down.

Please bear with me...so, someone suggested I download the newest version of TMPGEnc. I now have TMPGEnc 3.0 Xpress and I am getting the same results...not supported.

1. Is there a file size limit on TMPGEnc?

2. What about QT reference? I have tried export QT Ref from Avid but all I get to encode is black...

3. Am I doing something wrong??
