Hi guys i just got an ibook 500mhz used off of ebay i bought it cause it was 400 bucks and it was the combo drive version with 368megs of ram(or something not sure exactly) is it possible to play divx/xvid on these things with out "too much" skipping? what player should i use and what kind of tweaks do i need. The machine seems to play dvds fine. Please i need help this thing has a ati rage mobile video card with 8megs of vram. Am i out of luck for divx/xvid?(note: if i reencode to lower(or is it higher) bit rate will it play better? i have been encoding most of my stuff between 700kbit/s-850kbit/sec will lower make it more smoother playback?)
