Hi there, I am complete noob so please go easy on me. I recently saw a modded xbox at a pal's place and sent mine to friendtech for "premium upgrade" I recieved my xbox after a week and according to the instructions, after plugging in the xbox to power/tv/controller, hold the power button until I see xecuter under the X logo on the screen. I tried just that and the only that shows up is the evo X logo in a pink on the top left hand corner and then it boots into MS Dashboard.

I looked around the forums and it looks like I have an M8 bios update. I downloaded the evox install from #xbin and created an xIso using yursoft xIso with a cd-rw and a dvd+r but it wouldn't boot into evox. I tried pretty much all the options other than opening it up. I sent bunch of emails to friendtech but no reply.

bummed out. appreciate any help. thanks in advance!
