I just got my HD Advanced and HD and was wondering if all I can do with the harddrive is put games on it? Can I not transfer memory card files to it or put emulators on it? My ps2 is unmodded if that is of any significance.
Not only can you save memory card data, it also has a built in genesis emulator, so you can play retro games. It also has a media player so you can compile a cd-r full of avi movie files and mp3s

my HD is not a sony one, it is a maxtor... the usb memory card sounds awesome but can i not do anything with the hd alone, like access the hd from the menu (keeping in mind its not a "ps2" hard drive)?
