I was woundering how some of you guys are transfering your games to your HD loader harddrive? What programs are you using? I heard you can transfer duel layer games this way. I have winhipp and i was woundering what other program do i need and a brief description on how to do it. I really appreciate any opinions and facts. Thanks

The easiest way is to upload the game directly using HDA/HDL. You can hook your HDD up to your computer as the slave, and use WinHIIP to transfer. You can also network your pc to your console and FTP them.

I am currently trying to learn to transfer games as well. I can already do it using HDL and have also done it with HD installed in pc using WinHIIP and it worked great. I am having a bit of a problem though with trying to send through my network. I can make an FTP connection just fine and transfer elfs and such with ease using ExecFTP as server on the ps2 and an FTP client on the PC. I have also run the FAPLINK server on the ps2 and it works. On the PC side though FAPLINK is doing some funky stuff. First of all i think it will only transfer up to 2.0 gig or something like that. I transfered and 800+ mb game over using FAPLINK and can't find the game to run it. It does not list it in the HDL menu. FAPLINK hangs if I try to transfer large files. I tried hdl_dumb and the server works great on the ps2 side with correct IP address configured and all. On the PC client side though I am having alot of trouble. The hdl_dumb exe file will not execute on my Win98 machine. Tried it on two other Win98 machines and got the same. Double click on the hdl_dumb exe file and it looks like it is going to do something and quickly does nothing at all. Is hdl_dumb compatible with Win98 or just WinXP? I would be intersted in any other software out there that would work as a client/server combo on Win98 to transfer my original owned backups to my PS2 HDD. If not I am looking at just transfer from WinHIIP.
