Im "attempting" to line up the matrix chip, with not a lot of luck. ( I should have gone for a solder chip).

Anyways, as the directions state, if the light flashes red, it is not lined up correctly. The directions also say, "if the alignment is correct, the LED will start flashing GREEN proceed to step 7.

now i have had it "start" to flash green, but then goes to red. Is this aligned correctly? or is it supposed to stay flashing green?

Also does the harddrive and/or dvd drive have to be hooked up for the modchip to flash green?
