i have my ps2 hdd all set up,and i just ordred the HD advance. will i need to reformat the hdd?

anyways,im gonna keep bumping this until i get my answer,haha
alrite,if i install it with my ps2 HDD alrready in and formated,when i go online,will DNAS be able to pick up that i have that stuff on there?also,when u go to the HDD,it tells u how much space there is. will this change?
