hey everyone. i dont know if this is a common problem or not but its been going on for me for a lil while. i have optimum and i use bittorrent. i get increadible speed dwl. once it went up to 1022 kbs. but now everytime i start dwling and the speed increases my computer restarts. i dont know why, maybe because theres too much comming in. please help me out.

i think theres something wrong here! Unless youve got a amazingly fast internet connection (like 10 mbps or higher) your computer/programme is faulty. Try reinstalling it

i tryed that. i have used different programs too. but it still does it. what i would need is a program that you can control the speed so that it doesnt go too fast.lol as stupid as it sounds. you have any clue what i could use??

a realy good programe would be Azureus. It works on Mac an PC. When you start it up you can choose the speeds. REMBER that your upload speed is poportional to your download speed. Therefore you can set a lower upload speed and in return get a lower download speed.

i have optimum which is 3.5 mbs. but i have seen it go up to 5 or 6 mbs

i have used aruz b4 but it still didnt stay at 350kbs like i had set it up to be. it went hifgh and fast and my comp restarted.

go alot lower try setting the upload speed to around 50-100kb

I start having this problem lately and I am sure that it is not download speed related. any ideas what can be the prob?
