need help - problems with ripped 2nd film on dvd

i did this:
i ripped a dvd, which had 2 films on it. for every film i created an own folder as destination. then i ripped it using smartripper.
i got this:
folder 1 got the usual files, one *.ifo, some *.vob, and one *.txt, *.lst, *.idx, *.d2v . using DVDx i created a *.avi-file out of it.
folder 2 got the same stuff, but:
i got a vts_01_1.vob (0 kB), and after that vts_01_5.vob (1048.574 kB) and so on.(vts_01_6.vob etc). when i now thry to create an *.avi-file out of it, using DVDx, i get an error. it tries to read the vts_01_1.vob, which is empty.
i tried several things, like copying this file from my folder 1 or renaming the other files. but i finally guess its crap and i can forget this rip.
if you know what i could do, please answer!
(and i dont have the original DVD now)
