PowerDirector playback problem on TV

We've created a DVD production and burnt it to DVD - it works fine when played back on a PC, but when played on a TV using a normal DVD player, the titles (which are mostly positioned top and bottom left) go over the edges of the screen, making them difficult to read. Is there an easy way of re-producing the production to stop this happening??

We're new to this and would greatly appreciate any help anyone is able to give.
