Hello, i suppose it is normal, all ur uploading is the game, none of your other MAC files. I got the same problem and so do my other friends. You have to foward ports or something, and im trying to figure out how.

.....thats how file sharing works. You should always upload about the same amount as your downloads....

You can sometimes upload more than you receive (it is all about sharing). It depends on what parts of the file you have and what others are looking for. I have seen download rates of 4kb/s and uploads of 27. All you are sharing is the torrent file and nothing else. It is not like other P2P where they search your drive for files (eg Kazza), you are following a tracker of one file and the users who have it, and sharing it out.
You could try throttling your upload speeds (check your preferences), but this may have an even more adverse affect on your download speed.
Hope this helps.

I am not familiar with mac programs, I am using Bitlord at the moment on my PC. The main port (I think) is 6991, a default of a lot of programs. You could chage it to something else, but i would do a search on the forums before you start changing anythin (i change very little because it invariably will go wrong for me).

You can set your upload speed to a minimum of 5k and still have uncapped download speed.

Did you get the program to run? If you didn't you did somthing wrong, but if you got into the program just set you upload speed to whatever you want and you should be good. If you download is still slow it's because the torrent has more peers then seeds which will limit how fast you download anyway.

hi! to get the maximum speed you should set the uploadrate to 5-10kb/s below of what you're conection (line) can manage.. also you should open port: 6881-6991.

Try ports 49152-65535 instead isp's are starting too block out the default BT port range and also use random ports in your BT client app. also try and trigger these ports if u have a router
