Me and a friend both have an xbox with mods. I have an Excueter2 and my friend has an earlier mod. We both used copied games before, but now that I'm making copies myself for some reason I can only get the copies to work on my xbox (not my friend's). Does anyone know why?

It's the DVD-ROM drives. Believe it or not, the real reason why it won't play on your friend's xbox is because it probably doesn't like the media (the blank DVD) you burned the game to. Microsoft has used three different dvd drives in the xboxes, which are Thompson, Phillips, and Samsung. They are NOT all the same, which is why it is more complicated to determine what kind of media would play in a certain console.
