do I need a mod chip to play a backup on ps2 and if so how can I get one??????

U either need a mod chip (which is hard to install), or flip top with swap magic discs which is fairly easy to install. A google search should help.

Another way is to get a harddrive and network adapter and then get HDLoader or HDAdvance and just run the backups from the hardrive. This saves the trouble of having to buy the right media...burning the dvd correctly...and waiting hours for the media to burn...plus you need a DVD burner.
