The disks are good but the price sucks. I got 100 of the 8x dvd-r's from bestbuy when they were having a sale, burned 25 perfect movies, but they havent performed so well with the PS2 games I've tried to burn.

Thta is a horrible price. If you're paying more than 50 cents for media (since October, when the prices just plummeted), you're paying too much. I just posted Amazon's deal for Verbatim 8X DVDs for 100-packs, which are supposedly top-of-the-line. $59.99, but if you're fortunate, you can get the $30 rebate with it, bringing the price down to $29.99 for 100. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002IQ1I0/qid=1103836846/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl23/103-7488500-2839807?v=glance&s=photo&n=507846

I still think Ritek Ridata is the best deal anywhere. Great media, great price. Go to Newegg.com I've bought a bunch of Riteks from them and they are great - the discs and the dealer.
