An odd experience to report:

Media: Ritek G04 (White Ink Jet Printable)
Player: Plextor PX-708 (1.08 Firmware)
Purchased From: Merit Line

I was making a backup of a TV series and noted that some of the disc took a few more seconds to start up on the stand alone then others on the same media did. At this point I started to test each one in the PC. Well, to make a long story short WINDVD did not auto start on the same discs that the stand alone took a while to read.

I ran all the discs through Nero (Disc Info - Menu Item) and found out that the problem discs showed up as being empty (no tracks). Odd in-deed when one can see the video on the DVD. This odd problem showed up in about 1 out of 4 DVDs.

I tested other media and did not notice this problem from an old batch of Ritec (Radata branded) media. I will continue to check all burns from this batch of blanks until I am out.
