I think I fried my bios chip on a v5 and I was wondering if anyone had the same appart and tell me what the resistance is one side to the other on that chip so I could check mine and also if anyone knows where I could fined one let me know thanks
I'm getting pretty desprite I haven't had it for two months know.

Because when I instaled the magic chip Im pretty shure that one of the pins on the bios chip was tuching ground.All what the ps2 is doing the red light comes on then you press the reset to sart it up and it comes green. you here the ps2 working but I'm not getting a picture or sound on the television.
thats why I was thing that it was that.
do you know something I could do to check it?

Double check all the connections and pins you soldered to, make sure nothing is bridged and nothing has been pulled away from the circuit board. Youll probably find theres a bridge there somewhere.
