i have a laptop with win xp. every thing works fine i can get on the internet with my v220 . i have a icon MMS Service Center to connect with - here is my problem - it will only let me make an internet connection but try to open any website couldn't open .... plaes help me
Note: V220 modem its like the ISDN with speed 115.5Kbps.

go into network setting and disable your other internet connection. Then try to connect. Let me know if this helps

go to start,My network places,Look for veiw network connections. click on it, it should show your internet connections right click on your normal connection and dissable it. The the connection for the cell phone will work. Later

but i have a modem with dial up and on my right click there is no 'Disable' thats just for who own DSL or ISDN can disable, so have u any other ideas??

you may try to go internet explorer the the page probaby wil not load. go to tools,internet options,connections tab, you should see both connections in your dial up window, click on your dial up connection, then click to dissable your dial up , then apply. What you need to try and accomplish is dissable your other connection so internet explorer is reconizing your connection through the cell phone. If the only thing it is seeing is the dialup then that is what it sees. Am I makeing since.

i have followed ur instrucions but when i reached the connection tab and i found different connections try to find Disable couldn't find it.

In other word I think internet explorer is seeing the dial up connection and since you are trying to connect through your cell phone internet explorer isnt seeing that connection.
