I wanted to upgrade my MEDION 7457 version 05.00.00.09 to Official MEDION firmware v2.06 2nd release.
As I put CD with upgrade in, Press Play To Start, then Tray opens and nothing happens - player freezed. Then I switched main switch on back of the player. Nothing happens (only screen goes blanc).

Now, when I switch player on, only red stand-by light lights, nothing more happens - player does not work. Is it dead or can I anything do?
