Alright... I successfully upgraded the firmware on the player last night. Everything was going fine. My sister decided to be curious and play the unlabeled disc next to the player which contained the firmware update!

She interrupted the process and pulled the plug on the player before it was done.

Now the player doesn't respond, standby light goes off when I press the standby-on or eject buttons.

Is there any hope?!
