it is better to use Nero 6 and use copy disk only.I had a problem with the dvd blanks but then I bought TRAXDATA DVD-R and all the games that I copied all worked.Good luck. It is a simple process

hi humsa. Nero 6 is a big programm to download. i suggest to use ARES. this is like kazza or imesh. here is the site to download the programm of ares first www.softgap.com .good luck

just download DVD Decrypter from this site.its free and takes about 5 secs.....using Nero to "copy disc to disc",using on the fly method is risky and may result in you wasting dvd's.

hursty - question for you, after i have downloaded the DVD Decrypter for a ps2/xbox game and got the video_ts folder output -what do i do next?
do i use a dvd burner/ripper to copy that folder to a disk?
if you could advise that would be great

1. Take the ps2 game put it in the dvd rom or dvd burner, your choice.
2. open the dvd decryptor program then go to to tool bar and hit MODE>ISO>READ. Then choose the correct dvd drive that the game is in as the "source". Also choose where you want the files to be stored on the pc hdd. THEN CLICK DECRYPT , or the huge graphical picture at the bottom of the program which makes it run. The game is now copying to your HDD. Take the game out when finished (it might take a while).
3. Go to the same tab in dvd decryptor and choose MODE>ISO>WRITE. This will then let you look for the files you just created in step 2. Select the file that you just created. (There is only 2 files creadted so pick the .mdf) (The smaller file)Then click WRITE, make sure there is blank DVD in the drive.

excellent - thanks for that response, i will have a go with that tonight.
Am i right in thinking that process will work with normal DVD's as well? and would this work with xbox games? (i have heard that xbox games cannot be copied?)

xbox games can be copied but not just with decrypter,other software is required.
ps2 games have no copyright built in....xbox do.

mmmmm just copied a ps2 game using decrypter and my ps2 told me "please insert ps2 format disk" i.e. it didnt recognise it!
is this common or does this mean i have made a mistake ( i did follow the read and write process explained earlier tho). the game was getaway 2
