I recently wished to rip a dvd based game for backup using alcohol 120, after finding the level of copy prtection i tried then to rip the disc but alcohol wouldnt let me change the copy protection option.

using another program, DDump, i tried the same thing and this program told me that my device didnt support the command, could someone please help find a remedy, like drivers, or do i just need a different dvd drive..?

the same drive will let me rip cd based games with whatever option i want, securerom, laserlock, whatever. so im lost....
