i know it might not be a good idea to ask this since it varys with everybody but im looking to buy some dvd-r and cd-r's and not sure which company to stick with. im leaning towards T.Y. since a lot of people said its very good. Ritek also seems good. i think ill make my order from http://store.yahoo.com/accaproducts, since supermediastore.com has higher prices then them. maybe you guys have a better site? im just overwhelmed with all the brands and just need some guidance. i saw the FAQ on brand qualitys.

btw, which T.Y. would i get if i ordered them? cuz theres like 10 variations of a damn dvd-r. it doesnt have to have ink jet capability, i would just like to write on them with a marker.

I use Ritek mostly with the matte finish. Whatever is cheapest, as long as it is quailty media. I also do not get anything but 4X since it is best not to burn faster.

i have a 4x burner. so your saying i shouldnt really upgrade to a faster burner because its best to burn at 4x or lower? would burning at 2x or 2.4x be even better? or better yet, 1x? otherwise, the only other time to upgrade is when DL gets more popular and the media becomes a lot cheaper, thats when i should probably upgrade right?

any other people have comments on what brand i should use? meritline lits ritek as premium grade and T.Y. as professional grade. maybe i should go with T.Y.
