I registered for this site yesterday, but I've been trying to read a long for a couple weeks. I think I have it figured out, but could someone please clarify for me?

I'm wanting to play backups of PS2 games. From reading the posts in these forums it sounds like all I need to be able to do that is a Swap Magic v3.3 and a Flip Top Cover.

Is this correct?

And I have one other question about HDAdvance. HDAdvance is used to hook a harddrive up to the playstation. I can copy my original and/or backed up PS2 games to the harddrive and play directly from the harddrive. The only thing this saves on is the laser useage and the load times. Am I missing something?

I'm sure questions about backing up games will come in the future, but for now I need to get my hardware figured out first.
