I just got my new lid. I did not install it cause I don't have a pstwo yet I want to get one but all stores around are out of stock. So if anyone got the lid and did it install did it work without a snag?

Hi, I dont understand why people would still want to buy and install a fliptop lid when you can get a SlimTool and you dont have to take your New PS2 apart.
If you are in the UK, you can get it at http://www.pop-uk.info . I have seen a few german sites that sell worldwide (sorry, I forgot to bookmark them). I know a few people that have used pop-uk, aparently they are the only UK based supplier of this mod at the moment, but it doesnt take too long for the market to flood with gadgets like this.
