I'm wondering why one would go to all the trouble of bying vidio capture cards, software etc. to do VHS /camcorder to DVD burning, when there are DVD recorders for about the same price range ~ $200 - @250. I realize that you could not do any editing, but if one just wants to convert old vhs or analog vidio to dvd, wouldn't a dvd recorder be eisier??
I had used a dvd recorder once to do this (not mine), and was looking at using my computer with a dvd burner to do this, but after initial investigation using the computer, I'm not sure which would be the best way to go - for the best quality. I'm not too interested in doing any editing. Any coments would be appreciated.
Thanks
