Movie (with only one good fight scene in Serenity) - The Matrix

I think the storyline and premise is very well thought out and masterfully executed in its pacing. But the acting and casting could have been much better. Keanau Reeves is NOT a good candidate for Neo. Someone like Jet Li for Neo or even an anime-ish style movie would have been much better.

Have any of you guys seen The Animatrix? I think the artists for The Second Renaissance would have been great. Even the guys who did Aeon Flux and Reign the Conquerer had a piece in that movie. The Matrix just lends itself to animation more than live action and CG effects.

The Matrix --- awesome movie

I actually thought Keanau Reeves fir the part perfectly. It had to be some one not like all kung-fu and stuff. Like it's hard to explain but it had to be like he didn?t know really what was happening at the beginning and unbelievable but then learns how to fight and stuff and be all powerful. Like there were so, so many good fight scenes like when facing like a million agents and he's fighting them all. Keep in mind in talking about the trilogy in whole not just the original movie even though I thing the original is the best.

As for Aeon Flux I thought it was k but it was just way too weird. But UltraViolet what about the same Genre and I thought that was really good!

Awesome movie - Blade Runner

Aeon Flux was passable but Ultrviolet was an hour and a half I'll never get back. I've been calling it Ultra Midriff because everyone involved in the film apparently knew it was so weak they needed scads of Mila midriff shots to keep people from walking out.

Blade Runner -I've seen that too! (and I thought that was great)

The trailer's for Ultrviolet seemed to just be a knock off of other show's like it but I thoguht it was good. Oh well.

I've seen that, too - ...and children who first wipe their runny noses with their hands and then reach into the bins. Years ago I found a long string in the bulk peanut butter -- I've never purchased bulk nut butters since then. It's a shame that the bins aren't watched more closely and that people are not more respectful of others, because buying in bulk makes so much good sense.

where they spread a good friends ashes four years ago - cremation(spelling?)

Are you sure we're talking about the same Aeon Flux? There was indeed a live action movie recently but the one I'm talking about far surpasses it.

It is an anime that was released in the late 80's/early 90's(not sure). It is very surreal and was revolutionary for its time. It has high-quality animation and a very unique art style. The recent movie is almost nothing like it in any way apart from the main character. The series took impossible things and made them seem realistic.

One of the greatest animated works I've ever seen. Look it up.

a loss of rational thought - Insanity

disclaimer... I don't think linking "boner" to "a loss of rational thought" to "insanity" is appropriate; if it were then rape would be possibly justifiable by reason of insanity and I don't belive that is right. But this is just a thread on AD called word association game.
