Hi ive got a Netgear RP614v1 router
I have a static IP and have fowarded ports 6881 and 6889
But im only getting a speed of 1KB/s and im on a 1Mb connection
Ive done them tests and it says its all working fine!!! and the torrents are green ive treid many to!
All firewalls are disabled as ive checked this 100+ times

Does anybody have one of these router and know what to do or what?

I have a similar netgear router, so I should be able to help.

first, what BT client are you using? i.e Azurues, BitTornado?

You really need to change the default ports in the client from 6881 to 6889 and set it in your router too, I'd say that's what the problem is.

So tell me what client and I'll show you how to do it.

Ok, in Dela's ABC guide it shows you how to change the ports the program uses from the default 6881-6889 ones.

In the program it's in Action/Preferences - Network

I'd change the ports to about 10 open in the 49152 through 65535 range.

Now all you have to do is go back into your Router's options and change the old BT ports you forwarded (6881-6889) to the new range you set in ABC.

You can also forward the tracker port that BT sites sometimes use (6969) although alot today use 80/81 which is already forwarded by your router.

then afterwards check the ports are forwarded fine by using: http://btfaq.com/natcheck.pl

That should fix it, it's just that most Bittorrent sites these days are blocking the default BT ports as a way to stop Isp's throttling/blocking those ports.
