can't read dics anymore

I copied a bunch of movies on a DVD-R disc. Mostly mpegs, and avi file types. My burner seem to read the disc fine at first. Now when I insert the discs in it to view the movies. It cannot read them at all. Just keeps trying to read the discs. The disc are not scratched or anything. So I can't understand why I cannot view the files again.

Any ideas????
