Question about Menu Options from Tmpgenc Dvd Author

Hello All. I have successfully made my first Authored DVD using six different clips from six various dvds.
I made a menu that works great. I had a total of 7 seven different menu pages. The first menu consisted of the name of my dvd along with 6 smaller clips that were in motion. These 6 motion clips had a name of the movie(you could select the clip to view additional informtaion from each of the six clips. Much like any normal dvd menu). For the background of each of the menu pages, I insereted a jpeg picture.
The only thing that lacked on the menus was background audio. In the menu options I selected for the program to play BGM from the selected clips. But I think since I inserted a jpeg for the background of each menu there was no audio. How can I get the menus to play audio when a picture is displayed as the background. I dont think this is the problem but I do not have the Tmpgenc sound plug-in AC-3 installed.
