Problem using DVDshrink after dvdremake

I have been trying to backup a copy of Remember the titans using dvdshrink to decrypt the dvd and then using dvdremake to edit out the trailers and extras. After editing in dvdremake, I have tried to open the resulting files in dvdshrink so that i could compress but i keep getting an error message saying that the ifo file contains invalid data. I have followed the guide on this site and the guide from dvdremake site but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Invalid copies of the program (ie. a version 2.6.2 that is floating around the internet) will allow everything to proceed but intentionally create errors in the final output. I suggest either getting a registered copy directly from the authors website, or finding another version...

I don't open DRM's output files with Shrink so I can't really help there, but I recommend posting the problem on the official support forum. I'm sure dimad will take a look at it right away. He's very good about that.
