Help! cant seem to burn a CD

hi, im trying to download a film on to a CD,i can work it ok for music but having problems trying to burn a film, i click the video one it then encodes it but freezes when it reaches 100, this is 4 times ive tried this now, what do i need to do or doing wrong please, thank you for any help
