wireless network, ftp to xbox problems, help please!?!

To whomsoever may be my savior.

my xbox was configured to my wireless network yesterday, I copied a game overnight, during which I also ftp'd a copy of complex tools to my xbox(I don't know if this had something to do with it...also I opened a config.ini or whatever file (on my pc)after I was told not to, cause it could screw something up...I hope that wasn't it either...)
I woke up this morning to a finished transfer, but I couldn't ftp (using flashfxp) to my xbox...
I can ping my router at the neighbors...I can ping my access point hardwired to my xbox then wireless to my laptop at my house, but I can't ping my xbox... I've tried all my known means to no avail...help please...
