im using nero to make a svcd, is there a diffrence between vcd and svcd? and will my ps2 play the svcd?

is it better to use nero or burnatonce like this guide says:

Not sure if they will play in your ps2 though s i have never tried to put anything other than dvd format in mine.

Most will state it on the front of the machine with the little logos plus in the manual.Also ask the person you purchase off as well.If your purchasing off the net read the info which will be provided.
