I've noticed that analyzing and encoding DVDs with DVD Shrink are done alot faster when the source files are on the hard drive. What I don't understand is why, for example, it takes 20-25 minutes to just copy the DVD files to my PC whereas it will take DVD Decrypter, which has to decrypt first, just 15 minutes. It doesn't make sense. I noticed that some DVDs - mostly comedy concerts and foreign ones - don't even have copy protection. So naturally, why rip at all when you can just copy and burn. For now, it's because Decrypter is faster.
