I know there's a way to boot ISOs off a USB pendrive if you have a certain mod chip, but does a fliptop user like me have anyway to boot off of a pendrive?

You want to boot a game iso off the pendrive? ...?

I know how to boot PS2 backups using a pendrive but not off the pendrive.

Can you let me know how to boot a backup using a pendrive, I have the new PS2 two, using Codebreaker ver 8.2 and I have a 128 mb pendrive, wanting to try using some backups.

uh, i don't think you can put a backup on a 128mb drive. unless you mean homebrew programs.

there's no way to do that at all without a modchip, because the ps2 doesnt read from the usb drive when you boot.

well if you want to do it without mods then you will need Action Replay MAX.
You can use it with your pendrive to run cdloader and then in conjunction with a slidecard you can play backup cd and dvd games on your unmoded PS2.
You can also use ARMAX to run other programs such as HDLoader, Pgen, Snes-station etc... without mods.
