I have been using direct conect plus plus (DC++) for a few days now and i have to say it is incredible. I have been able to max out my entire download speed, i have a 2M/bit connection. So i got between 220-250 kb/s I found 6 movies and clicked onto them and it maxed out the speed to those figures. Then i tried getting a DVDR and it said something like 5 hours, now this is incredible because any other file sharing program i would never get those speeds, as i also use bit torrent and it takes for a 4.3GB DVDR around 14hrs. So DC++ is the best way to go. i also like it beacuse i did not have to do any fiddiling with changing ports or even choosing download Speeds. Infact it was so simple that after installing and connecting to a server i had done a search and started downloading. I reccomned it to anyone, but don't be put off by it at first glance as it does seem very different to the more conventional file sharing programs, but just give it a try and in no time you will be downloading. Anyway i have not actually downloaded a full movie yet instead i was just testing the speeds from a download and then i was deleting them after a few mins of speed tests. I think i will start to download a complete one soon. It is a bit of a hassle as i have to do everything manually in dc++ as there is no way to search every hub, from the thousands that are in my public hub list, and i actually came accross a website yesterday that was hosting links of all sorts of warez, from movie Dvdrips to games of all formats, and DVDR movies. I forgot to enter it into my favourites and now i have lost it.
Does anybody know of any direct connect links? as this is the fastest program on the planet.
