Hi all

I bought a dvd writer a few weeks ago and to start with I had lots of problems. Then I found this forum and after reading the guides and searching the forum I was burning within a few hours. Big thanks to you guys who run the site and the helpers. (I would still be ruining dvd-r if it wasn't for you).

However, I am still having a problem that I can't seem to figure out maybe someone could help me with.

When I burn a home movie or backup a dvd i'm not able to access to burned files on the dvd-r to re edit them. If I explore the disk it shows up as being empty. The only time I can view burned files is if i back-up a dvd with DVDD, but as you know I can only use that for a dvd that fits on a 4.7gb dvd.

Any Ideas?

F.Y.I
Windows Xp sp1a/sp2

Dvd rom is set to slave
Dvd Writer is a liton and is set to master on the second ide.
I have been using nero to burn files which is fully updated

Could Nero be the problem?

Thanks for any help.
