My stepdad got a Gateway standalone +R dvd burner. He has transferred home movies from vhs to dvd. They play great on his Gateway burner/player and his $40 Magnavox dvd player. He made me a copy. It won't play on my Pioneer player or my computer dvd rom. When I put it in my Pioneer, in my HT, it says "Loading" for a few seconds, and then says "Stop", as if I pushed the stop button. It won't do anything else. I took it back to him, and he made another. It does the same thing. I tried it in computer, and it does nothing. I thought if it worked in computer, I'd make a copy, but.........
My Pioneer and computer, both play +R discs, that I burn on my computer. Both discs he made are name brand discs, and were finalized.
Thanks for any ideas you have about this weird problem. :)
