Wierd problem my modchip suddenly reads only original

After i tried to play a region 0 movie dvd my ps2 only reads original games, no copies.

I really don´t know the modchip name, i know it has one,

can somebody point me to a solution??

You probably have a mod chip that will only make a difference in the way you play games not on the way the PS2 reads Movies.
