Alright I bought a dvd recorder and recorded a home tape to dvd-r. For dvd-r's it automatically initializes it as a dvd video and for dvd recorders you can't edit it as much as a dvd-rw in dvd-vr mode, but I want the dvd I make to be compatible with most dvd players which many dvd players do not play dvd-rw and the dvd-vr format. So I made a copy of the tape to dvd and I want to do all the editing of it on my computer such as taking out the fuzz and making the proper chapters, but I don't know what to do. When I insert the disc in the PC it is Dvd video format and has chapters and stuff. I'm wondering how I would make new chapterss??? Also it split the movie into 3 VOB files?? Is there a way I can combine all the files to one or something and it wouldn;t loose qaulity? Sorry ii know nothing about this stuff. Thanks
