im so near to getting this to work but ive hit a wall.

Ive got the exploit on my memory card and am using "diablo" as my exploit trigger disc. When i boot the console with the disc in the cogswap screen comes up as i expected it to.

now the problem comes....

when i use the slidecard to release the drive and put in my psx backup and press x the disc just spins and the screen stays on the cogswap screen... nothing else happens?!!

can someone please tell me where im going wrong? it doesnt seem to boot any ps1 disc after this screen be it original or copy
