Two things you can do here. If you intend on using Shrink to compress this later, then you'll want to download a freeware program called "VOB Blanker". Run the disc through that and then use Shrink as normal.

If you don't intend on compressing it you can simply import a updated PSL file into Decrypter and simply re-rip the disc. I just ripped RE2 today myself, took me awhile to do it but I finally got to work using Blanker and Shrink. Gimme a sec I'll get some links.

Here you go.

(2) using FREE VOB blanker from http://www.posunplugged.com/jsoto/ this was posted by viper64
Using Vobblanker to copy resident Evil Apocolypse
I just made a backup copy using this software.
A- Make a new Folder to save this in.
1. insert dvd in computer(resident evil apocolypse)
2. open up vobblanker
3. input folder (browes and find dvd drive letter)click on it then click on the video_ts folder click open twice.
4. output folder(browes and find folder you created)click on it and then click OK.
5. highlight all items in the title set window all items should now be blue.
6. click the Process butten below and wait for the software to do its thing.
Thxs to Bukem00.

For the PSL update:
Quote:
1. make a new text file on your desktop.

2. copy and paste this in the new text file:

PSL
184353-184363
184370-184400
184401-184431
184432-184462
184463-184493
184494-184524
184525-184555
184556-184586
184587-200706
200707-200737
1953828-2084899
2259324-2259354
2259355-2259385
2259386-2259416
2259417-2259447
2259448-2275660
2275661-2275691
4038680-4038749
4038750-4169821
4169840-4169909

3. Name the new file whatever you want. I named mine DVD_VIDEO.PSL

4. open up decrypter

5. under File, go down to Protected Sectors List and select Import.

6. find the text new text document you made on your desktop and open it up.

7. If you don't see the file change the Files of type option to All Files (*.*)

8. Select you file and it should say Protected Sectors List Imported Sucessfully.

9. From here do everything you usaully do.
Thxs CCWDUDE

NOTE:On the file name, it must be called DVD_VIDEO.PSL or Decrypter won't recognize it. When you create a new text document, don't name it until after you've pasted the above sectors. Then just save it with the file extension ".PSL" instead of ".TXT". Any questions just let us know.

The easiest way I found to do this movie and I have tried them all is to use the newest version of AnyDVD 4.4.0.0

You need to read the Forum Rules

Here's a few you didn't follow.

Forum rule #1. Before starting a new thread, use SEARCH first (located on top of the page..) to see if your question has been answered before!

Do you know how many RE2 threads there are? Most of which have the solution.

Forum rule #7. Describe your problem specifically -- including the thread topic, because this helps people who are willing to answer to you.
