help with ripping the passion of the christ in DVD+R

I ripped the Passion DVD version (USA) and i've tried dvd shrink and decripter, making deep analysis, also recording with nero as you stablished in the forums but when i get the disc it wont be recognized by my Home Theater (TH-A35 JVC) it says error or there is no disc. Im recording to DVD +R, letting out the DTS sound only. any idea what the problem is??? it has played DVD+R discs before but dont know what is happening, its the first time i ripp a movie. please help me.

the disc recorded can be read in the computer hardly but no in the DVD player described.

Please help me, i've "damaged" 3 disks already and they're expensive...
